A Trip to Bonita Springs

I’ve traveled to over 80 countries but have not explored the state I live in. Yes, I’ve been to the theme parks and kayaked at Silver Springs but there seems to be so much more to explore.

We are staying at a Hyatt Vacation Club and have to go through a presentation, but it was $299 for 3 nights and includes a sunset sail. So why not? I just can’t buy.

However, I must say this place is lovely, and for golfers, it’s paradise.

We are directly on the golf course. They also have a very nice pool area and a lazy river.

The paperwork said they also have a mini-golf course which we will check out tomorrow.

The resort is not on the ocean, but it does offer a shuttle that takes you to its private island.

Tonight we went off the property and ate at a pizza place. On our way back, the moon was full and beautiful.

Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and we will have a fun day!

In 2015, I retired and set out to do as much traveling as I could. I started the blog on our first, month-long trip to Panama in October 2015. My sister Linda and her husband Stan joined Bruce and me on our first trip and we decided together on the name the four amigos. Since then, we don’t always travel with them, sometimes just Bruce and I, sometimes other people, whoever wants to join us on our crazy journeys. The name stuck and I grew an affinity for it. So here we are. I invite you to join the fouramigos blog on our next destination.
