A Visit To North Carolina

My granddaughter is sixteen soon to be 17. She’s an amazing young lady. She tried out for the football team and is now the sole female on the JV team. She’s a kicker and plays safety.

But she’s all female. Loves to dress up, fix up, and look lovely. All when she’s not engaging in sports.

Her Mom and stepdad are away so Bruce also known as Poppop and I are here to supervise or just be here for her. I’m not sure how much I will get to see her but our first night we ate at a nice Mexican restaurant.

Kadyn is quite a bit younger

We spent a day shopping and I bought her a Kate Spade pocketbook for her birthday.

Then we went out for sushi!

Today Kadyn had schoolwork to do and she was gone a good part of the day. Bruce and I went for a walk at Lassiter Mill Park.

It was a short walk but we enjoyed it. I wanted to be around when Kadyn was home.

In 2015, I retired and my goal was to do as much traveling as I possibly could. I started the blog for our first month long trip to Panama in October 2015. My sister Linda and her husband Stan joined Bruce and I on our first trip and we decided together on the name the four amigos.
