Father’s Day

What a way to spend Father’s Day. A day at the beach with our 16-year-old granddaughter Kadyn.

The surfs up and Kadyn and PopPop went boogey boarding.

I spent most of the time on the lounge chair! The surf was a little too rough for me. But Pop Pop joined me as we watched the comings and goings at the beach.

So a very nice day at the beach.

Happy Father’s Day to my love and all the fathers out there!

In 2015, I retired and my goal was to do as much traveling as I possibly could. I started the blog for our first month long trip to Panama in October 2015. My sister Linda and her husband Stan joined Bruce and I on our first trip and we decided together on the name the four amigos. Since then, we don’t always travel with them, sometimes just Bruce and I, sometimes other people, whoever wants to join us on our crazy journeys. The name stuck and I grew an affinity to it. So here we are. I invite you to join thefouramigos blog on our next destination.

  1. What a lovely and joyful way to celebrate Father’s Day! Boogey boarding with your granddaughter sounds like so much fun, and relaxing by the surf is always a treat. Such sweet moments and beautiful memories—thanks for sharing your beach day with us!
