Yesterday we explored the beaches around Pedasi. We also visited a colorful little shop on the square – the shop sold hammocks and local jewelry.
We also visited the lovely resort owned by the Frenchman Phillip. He was gracious enough to give us a tour of his lovely resort. Unfortunately his restaurant will not be open again until December
No wifi on arrival so I was not able to post. Our places are nice but need a little TLC. Fortunately what we don’t have in our unit Linda and Stan have in theirs and vice versa. beds are a little hard but we are adjusting- have to remember we are in a 3rd world country and not in a cosmopolitan area.
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we headed over the Bridge of the Americas, accidentally visited Howard Air Force BasE, wer stopped by the police, made them shake their heads at the idiosos Americanos due to taking roads they said not to – and after a long and rainy day finally made it to Pedasi.
It was quite a ride through the city – we were a little lost but that was all part of the adventure – some of the city reminded me of the Cross Bronx Expressway – huge skyscrapers – it was a fun ride
