More At Sea

There are so many things to do on board a ship that sometimes I wonder how I’m going to get any relaxation. There are shows, trivia, casino, bingo, eating, dancing, listening to music, and getting acquainted with many people.

We try to do a few of the things but sometimes we want to pause and read our books. Or on this ship, there have been mindful meditations.

The pastries on the Sun Princess have been delicious and I’ve indulged way too willingly. So for the next few days, I decided to reduce my food and pastry intake.

As Platinum level on Princess, we are invited to a daily cocktail hour which some days we go to and some not.

We missed the big event with the officers since I wasn’t feeling well.

Another night of entertainment with the incomparable Janice Martin.

We enjoyed the acrobat shows in the Dome with Duo Fusion and Duo Kate and Vasya.

Tomorrow we will finally reach our first port, Santa Cruz De Tenerife.

In 2015, I retired and my goal was to do as much traveling as I possibly could. I started the blog for our first month long trip to Panama in October 2015. My sister Linda and her husband Stan joined Bruce and I on our first trip and we decided together on the name the four amigos. Since then, we don’t always travel with them, sometimes just Bruce and I, sometimes other people, whoever wants to join us on our crazy journeys. The name stuck and I grew an affinity to it. So here we are. I invite you to join thefouramigos blog on our next destination.

  1. The shows and acrobat performances sound amazing, but quiet time with a book is just as nice. And those pastries would be hard for me to resist too! Hope you’re feeling better and enjoy Santa Cruz De Tenerife. 😊
