Priority

What’s your #1 priority tomorrow?

Every day my number one priority is to do things that maintain my peace and kindness.

I meditate. I read a daily devotion. I pray. I thank my higher power for my life.

And then I head out to face the day, but not until imbibing with a requisite number of coffees.

In 2015, I retired and my goal was to do as much traveling as I possibly could. I started the blog for our first month long trip to Panama in October 2015. My sister Linda and her husband Stan joined Bruce and I on our first trip and we decided together on the name the four amigos. Since then, we don’t always travel with them, sometimes just Bruce and I, sometimes other people, whoever wants to join us on our crazy journeys. The name stuck and I grew an affinity to it. So here we are. I invite you to join thefouramigos blog on our next destination.

  1. That’s awesome! Also, thank you for the beautiful picture!!
It seems peaceful enough to me. I wanted to ask you how much it would matter to you or anyone reading it to engage in unexpected or unintended helping someone in need we never saw or will never see again in our entire life. The reason for my question has to be our need to put our hopes for better days, basing our thinking almost always on ourselves. Isn’t it? That’s wild; since I would love to make a needy person have a better day, which would almost certainly present myself with better days, I couldn’t have to plan anything. People dealing with psychology already have a name for this behavioral saying.
Have a great day and week you and your family, Lisa 😉
