I’ve been suffering from headaches most of my life. Some of them are migraines, some of them are clusters, all of the a pain in the head.
I’ve tried different remedies. Chiropractors. Medications. Ointments. Hot compresses. Cold compresses. Acupressure. Acupuncture.
Dark rooms. Sunglasses. Coffee. No coffee. Change my foods. Be careful of scents. Use meditation for stress.
And they still come on with a vengeance.
This morning I saw the daily prompt about my name and all I could think of was headache.
Does anyone suffer from headaches? Have you found a cure?

In 2015, I retired and my goal was to do as much traveling as I possibly could. I started the blog for our first month long trip to Panama in October 2015. My sister Linda and her husband Stan joined Bruce and I on our first trip and we decided together on the name the four amigos. Since then, we don’t always travel with them, sometimes just Bruce and I, sometimes other people, whoever wants to join us on our crazy journeys. The name stuck and I grew an affinity to it. So here we are.
I invite you to join thefouramigos blog on our next destination.

I read somewhere a long time about cinnamon tea. Have you heard of it? Hope you’re feeling better.

Ha ha 😂 that is great 😃 I got my name from my dad. He has given it in the name of a woman freedom fighter Pritilata. It means loving climbing plants 😀🌵

Ugh – late to comment sorry, but migraines are a massive part of my life… so far no “cure” but I am using mindful movement and better breathing to reign in the pain… I feel for you; it’s a hard and often lonely path to walk. Feel free to reach out if you want a chat… hang in there 🥰

I’ve had migraines for over 50 years – my grandmother had them so they may be genetic. I do take meds that keep them down to 5 or 6 a month. But when they come are relentless

What a shame! I think I got mine from my mother… although hers were pretty infrequent… mine used to be monthly but then they started to merge together… I’ve had migraine pain in one eye for two + years 😔 here’s hoping yours stay away as much as possible… it’s a rotten diagnosis! ❤️
