Sully’s Golf and Gather

We took a quick trip to Garner- near Raleigh- North Carolina to check out my daughter and her husband’s new business.

The place is amazing. Lauren and Mike were hard at work pulling this indoor golf studio together which opened in April 2024.

There are 14 bays that can replicate hundreds of golf courses around the world.

The night we arrived, they were hosting a birdies and brews event. This was with teams of 4 on a virtual PGA golf course in Detroit.

In addition to the bays, they have a private training suite. Mike continues to give private lessons.

There is an indoor putting green for practicing long and short putts. As well as conducting junior, women, and adult golf classes.

They have a Founders Board with a list of all the people who invested in their business.

Not only do they have the golf facility, they also have a great bar. The wood bar is red oak and was from a fallen tree on a business partners property. The cut pieces of wood were planed and finished to a fine sheen and is central to their gather area.

For breakfast, they have breakfast sandwiches. For lunch, dinner, and snacks, they have a variety of foods

The hamburgers were delicious. Whether you like them rare or well done, they are very juicy and tasty.

It’s a great place to spend an afternoon or evening to have fun or practice your golf swing!

In 2015, I retired and my goal was to do as much traveling as I possibly could. I started the blog for our first month long trip to Panama in October 2015. My sister Linda and her husband Stan joined Bruce and I on our first trip and we decided together on the name the four amigos. Since then, we don’t always travel with them, sometimes just Bruce and I, sometimes other people, whoever wants to join us on our crazy journeys. The name stuck and I grew an affinity to it. So here we are. I invite you to join thefouramigos blog on our next destination.
